Backset:
The backset is the distance from the door's edge to the center of the 2 1/8" borehole.
The two backset measurements for residential door locks are:
- 2 3/8" (60mm)
- 2 3/4" (70mm)

This Privacy Tubular Latch is designed to work with our privacy door handle set. Manufactured with a strong spring mechanism inside to function with all Explore Hardware Privacy Door Handles.
Our latch is sold without any faceplate/strike/screws. To purchase matching accessory packs in the finish/colour of your door handles, please see our Accessories Pack Section. All our Tubular Latches are either 2 3/8’’ ( 60MM ) or 2 ¾’’ ( 70MM) backset and non adjustable.
